Margot Halliday

Born and raised in Canada, Margot’s early career was in Canadian banking. Prior to leaving her last role as Branch Manager, she dreamed about coupling her financial acumen with an interest in living abroad. 

Having spent time immersing herself in real estate development throughout the Caribbean, she fell in love with Roatan, moving to the island in 1998 and launching her real estate career.

“Roatan feels like home. The island’s welcoming and friendly people made imagining my life here very easy,” says Margot.

Enjoying a good puzzle, Margot finds all of the pieces important; meeting new people, listening to their ideas and connecting them to the perfect home, business opportunity or investment property. 

After purchase service is really important to Margot. She wants people to feel at home as quickly as possible. And if they need a contractor, supplier or products she’s quick with well sourced, trusted referrals.

“I love that feeling of connecting the right people with the right home,” shares Margot. “I particularly like staying in touch with my clients to see them enjoy their new home on the island.”
